Land Art, Earthworks (acuñado por Robert Smithson), o el arte la Tierra es un movimiento artístico que surgió en los Estados Unidos a finales de 1960 y principios de 1970, en la que el paisaje y la obra de arte están íntimamente relacionados. También es una forma de arte que se crea en la naturaleza, utilizando materiales naturales como el suelo, la roca (roca madre, rocas, piedras), los medios de comunicación orgánica (troncos, ramas, hojas), y el agua con los materiales introducidos, tales como hormigón, metal, asfalto, o pigmentos minerales. Las esculturas no se colocan en el paisaje, más bien, el paisaje es el medio de su creación. A menudo, equipos de movimiento de tierra están involucrados.

Land art, Earthworks (coined by Robert Smithson), or Earth art is an art movement which emerged in the United States in the late 1960s and early 1970s, in which landscape and the work of art are inextricably linked. It is also an art form that is created in nature, using natural materials such as soil, rock (bed rock, boulders, stones), organic media (logs, branches, leaves), and water with introduced materials such as concrete, metal, asphalt, or mineral pigments. Sculptures are not placed in the landscape, rather, the landscape is the means of their creation. Often earth moving equipment is involved.
